University of Central Florida2015-2019
I spent four great years at the university of central florida where I learned many things in the web design field and many other skills that are required for successful web and mobile app deployment such as project management and also user testing, version control, and high tech coding practices. The degree, granted by the school of visual arts and design at UCF was also very geared toward design implementation and aesthetic. I was a member of many clubs at UCF, including GDSA(Graphic.Design.Student.Organization), CCM(Catholic Campus Ministries), Photography club, and the web and code club. As a digital media student, one could pick between one of three tracks to choose from one was the game design track, the graphic design track, and my personal favorite Web Design(slightly biased). But none the less the exposure and close proximity in our earlier classes allowed for an overall developement into many skills including graphic design and game design which I can now include in my work today, taking skills I acquired from my interests in graphic design to the gamifiaction aspects of some freemium applications. When I was not at the UCF Knights football games (#UNDEFEATED) or on a club field trip with GDSA I spent my time growing and diversifying my network with all the amazing people that UCF seems to attract.
